Echinopsis chamaecerius ‘Yellow Bird’ is a yellow flowering cultivar of the popular “peanut cactus”, a small, heavily clumping cactus with tubular stems resembling fingers.
The name Echinopsis is from the Greek echinos (hedgehod or sea urchin) and opsis (like). Named after the zoologist Dr. Silvester who was the first to describe the genus.

Can grow into established clumps 6″tall by 12″ wide or more.
Water well through the summer whilst the plant is actively growing, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. Minimum watering in winter while the plants water usage is at its lowest.
Protect from frost.
Supplied in 8.5cm pot.
