Chamaelobivia ‘Pauline’ is a intergeneric hybrid of Chamaecereus (known as the Peanut Cactus) and Lobvia. Chamaelobivia ‘Pauline’ has an upright growth habit, offsetting freely into attractive clumps quite quickly and blooming profusely. Flowers are pink and generally around 3″ in diameter.
Like most Chamaelobivia, Pauline is an easy cactus to grow, making it rewarding for novice growers.
Chamaelobivia prefer well drained, porous cactus compost, bright light and good airflow.
Water well through the summer whilst the plant is actively growing, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. Minimum watering in winter while the plants water usage is at its lowest.
