Opuntia microdasys (bunny ears cactus) is a low, branched, clump forming cactus. The small stems (known as pads) don’t have spines, but are covered with hair like prickles known as glochids.

A very popular cactus with all types of collectors form novice to experts, it is easy to grow and certainly an attractive plant.

Water well through the summer whilst the plant is actively growing, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. Minimum watering in winter while the plants water usage is at its lowest.

Protect from frost.
